Core Values Spotlight: July
At Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, our five core values drive everything we do. Each month, we look to acknowledge a group of employees who go above and beyond their day-to-day responsibilities and exemplify a Heart to Serve, Communication, Accountability, Teamwork, and Growth.
Today we‘re sharing three examples of colleagues who truly demonstrated Heart to Serve, Accountability, Teamwork, and Growth. Join us in congratulating our Core Value winners for the month of July: John Davey; Zack Prendergast; and Anamika Awasthy, Rebecca Cloutier, Melissa Dandrea, Kristie Mahoney, Gerard Moussette, Amber Overko, and Elizabeth Warren.
John Davey, Security Guard for our Merrimack Street, Lowell branch, truly showcased his accountability and heart to serve last month. Near closing time one evening, John noticed two unconscious individuals on the sidewalk. He immediately rushed to their aid and contacted emergency medical services. After having reviewed the incident on video, Sheila Fortin, VP – Risk Management, said “It was so sad to see how many people just walked by without doing anything. Thankfully for all involved, John was there and didn’t hesitate to help.”
Digital Channel Specialist Zack Prendergast was recognized for communication, heart to serve, and growth. Zack has been with Jeanne D’Arc for just over a year, and as his manager, Anexis Sanchez, VP – Member Contact Center, said, “There isn’t a week that goes by where I am not impressed with his positivity, desire to learn, and communication skills.” He’s been an incredible help taking on more responsibilities as colleagues are out of the office this summer, and has generally made it clear how much he has learned in his time here and how well he fits into the team.
Anamika Awasthy, Learning and Development Specialist; Rebecca Cloutier, Senior Mortgage and Secondary Market Specialist; Melissa Dandrea, Systems Application Officer; Kristie Mahoney, Senior Mortgage and Secondary Market Specialist; Gerard Moussette, Loan Servicing Analyst; Amber Overko, AVP – Mortgage and Secondary Market Servicing; and Elizabeth Warren, Mortgage and Secondary Market Specialist; were all recognized for their accountability and teamwork working on a special project together. The Mortgage and Secondary Market Servicing teams discovered an issue on a report where a field did not populate properly. Gerard and Melissa reviewed, tested, and tested more, and found that the fix required a manual update. After identifying the affected documents, the group came in on a Saturday to quickly resolve the issue. Emily Farnham, VP – Payments and Loan Servicing remarked on their work, “It’s impressive how quickly they identified what the issue was and how well they worked together to get it corrected.”
