1. How do I access Retail Rewards within online banking?
You can access Retail Rewards by clicking “More…” then selecting “Retail Rewards.” A new window will open and load the Retail Rewards webpage. Note: Depending on your browser, you may need to enable pop-ups from online banking to allow the Retail Rewards page to successfully launch.
2. What kinds of offers are available through Retail Rewards?
With Retail Rewards, you can take advantage of awesome cash back offers from thousands of popular retailers. Plus, if a particular merchant is having a deal, such as 50% off, you can enjoy the discount plus an extra percentage of cash back.
3. How much do I earn?
Discount and cash back amounts depend on what each store is offering for Retail Rewards users.
4. Does Retail Rewards cost anything?
Retail Rewards is completely free to use. Neither Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, nor the stores you shop at, charge you to use the program. You just pay for the items that you purchase.
5. How do I use an offer?
If you see an offer you’d like to use, simply click “Shop Now.” You will be directed right to the retailer’s website. When you make your purchase, the cash back is automatically loaded to your Retail Rewards account. In order to get your cash back, you must complete your order from the page you are directed to through Retail Rewards. If you close the window then open a new window and go directly to the merchant website, your cash back offer will not be applied. You must shop through Retail Rewards to successfully use your offer.
6. How is my cash back applied to my purchase when I shop through Retail Rewards?
When you click on “Shop Now” a tracking link takes you to the retailer’s website. That link contains the cash back offer and lets the retailer know you should receive the cash back offer on your purchase.
7. How long does it take to receive my cash back?
It typically takes 2-5 days for your cash back to appear in “Pending.”
8. Why does the cash back appear as Pending?
Cash back goes into pending so we can allow time for returns, exchanges, etc.
9. When will my cash back be available to redeem?
Typically no more than 30 days after the purchase.
10. How do I view my Pending and Available cash back?
Hover over “My Account” and click “Transactions.”
11. How do I redeem my cash back?
To redeem your available cash back, hover over “My Account” in the upper right hand corner and select “Redeem” from the dropdown. From there, you can choose your redemption option and follow the prompts. You can choose from the following:
- Transfer the cash back amount to your PayPal account
- A check will be mailed to you for the amount of the cash back you have earned
12. How can I see all the offers for one store?
If a store has multiple offers, you will see a ribbon with the number of offers to the left of its name. Click the ribbon and you will be directed to a page that lists all of the offers available to use for that particular merchant.
13. What are “Favorites”?
You can set Favorites by clicking the heart next to each retailer’s name. All of your Favorites will appear in the “Favorites” tab for quick and easy access to the stores you love to shop at.
14. Can I access Retail Rewards on my smartphone or tablet?
Yes! You can access the Retail Rewards widget on both the online banking mobile site and mobile app by going to the menu on the left side and selecting Retail Rewards. Just like on a desktop, a browser window will open the Retail Rewards webpage.
15. Do I always have to go through my online banking account to access Retail Rewards?
To access Retail Rewards outside of Online Banking, you will need to download the Browser Extension. When you download the extension, you will see the Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union shield on the top right corner of your browser. You can click the shield to see your available cash back. You can also click the dropdown box to open the Retail Rewards webpage.
16. How do I download the Browser Extension?
Click “Learn More” on the Browser Extension bar below the navigation tabs. Then, follow the instructions to install the extension on your browser. The extension is available to download on Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari. If you use more than one of these browsers, you may download the extension on each one. The Browser Extension is only available for desktop and is not supported on mobile browsers.
17. I am concerned about privacy. What do you track?
18. How do I change my password?
Go to settings, then click on “Password.” Type in your current password and then type in a new one. If you’ve forgotten your password or are having trouble logging in, click the question mark button at the login screen. You will receive an email with instructions to reset your password.
19. Where can I see all of my transactions?
To see your transactions, you can click on either your available balance or “Transactions” from the My Account dropdown menu.
20. When will my transactions show?
Most of your transactions will appear in the “Transactions” page within 24 hours. Although, some can take up to 2 weeks depending on the merchant. Some travel transactions will show once the trip has been completed.
21. What do I do if I don’t receive my cash back?
On the “Transactions” page you will find a “Missing Transaction” form. Simply follow the instructions and hit submit. We will respond to your message within two business days.
