Yes, Online Banking is very safe. We have chosen a very secure system for our Online Banking, in order to keep your information private. Your account information is as secure as it is at your physical branch. We have firewalls and encryption codes for all financial transactions on the Internet. 2. How secure are my transactions?
As stated above, your account information never travels the Internet without encryption protection. Additionally, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union has other protective measures to ensure data security, such as firewall protection, log-in sessions with a time-out limit and restricted failed PIN attempts imposing a lock out from Online Banking. You must remember however, that one of the most important security measures is YOUR responsibility – KEEP YOUR PIN NUMBER CONFIDENTIAL.
3. What about filling applications out online? How secure is that?
Filling out applications online is as secure as the Online Banking System. Your entire session (filling out and sending the application) is encrypted. Our system requires 128-bit encryption, so you can use the latest browser from Microsoft that supports this security level.

5. If I access a vendor on your website, do I still have the security of the Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union website?

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union Online Banking has a 5-minute time-out feature set as the default. If you are logged in for 5 consecutive minutes without using Online Banking, the system will time you out and you will have to login to resume banking.
