Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union Employee Announcements

LOWELL, MA– Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, is pleased to welcome Mark McDermott, Assistant Vice President- Operational Risk Management, and announce the promotions of seven employees.

Mark McDermott joins Jeanne D’Arc with more than eight years of experience in Risk Management. In his new role as Assistant Vice President- Operational Risk Management, Mark will oversee a small team and will be responsible for the Credit Union’s vendor management, risk assessments, and application safety. Mark received numerous degrees including his Master of Business Administration, a Cyber Policy degree and a Juris Doctor (JD) from Utica University, and a Business Law & Financial Services from Suffolk University. He currently resides in Nashua with his wife, children, and Golden Retriever.

Robert Boley was recently promoted to Vice President- Business Services. Robert began his career at Jeanne D’Arc in 2016 as the Manager of the Westford Branch, and shortly after, he joined the Business Services team. In 2020, Robert was named Assistant Vice President of Business Services and played a critical role in improving the business member experience. His ability to build strong relationships in the community has led to an increased awareness of Jeanne D’Arc’s business membership. In his new role, Robert and his team will look for new, innovative products to offer members. Robert graduated from Fitchburg State University and currently lives in Lawrence with his wife and two children.

Catherine Casey has been named Assistant Vice President- Financial Wellness. She joined the Credit Union in 2010 as a teller in the Lowell Branch. Throughout her career at Jeanne D’Arc, Catherine has held numerous positions including her most recent role as Branch Manager of the Dracut Bridge – Street branch. As Assistant Vice President- Financial Wellness, Catherine will oversee the Financial Wellness and High School Branch Teams, and develop and implement various educational programs to serve local schools and community groups. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Curry College. Catherine lives in Dracut with her husband and three children.

Emily Farnham has been promoted to Vice President- Payments and Loan Servicing. Since joining Jeanne D’Arc in 2004, Emily has been instrumental in working with various teams and stepping into new roles when needed. As Vice President- Payments and Loan Servicing, Emily will oversee the Loan Servicing department and continue oversight of the Credit Union’s traditional payment features. She will also be looking for ways to improve both internal and external loan experiences for members. Emily received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the New England College of Business and Finance. She currently resides in Lowell, MA.

Amber Overko was recently promoted to Assistant Vice President- Mortgage and Secondary Market Servicing. Amber joined Jeanne D’Arc in 2002 and spent most of her career on the Member Experience Team. As Assistance Vice President- Mortgage and Secondary Market Servicing, Amber will manage the department that is responsible for maintaining Federal and State compliance regulations for numerous loan programs. Amber received her Advanced Financial Services Diploma in November 2014 and her Financial Services Management Diploma in 2017 from the Center for Financial Training. She currently lives in Merrimack, N.H.

Rachel DaSilva has been promoted to Cybersecurity Officer. In this role, Rachel will collaborate with current and new security vendors and manage documentation, vulnerability and risk assessments, intrusion prevention, and many other activities to keep the Credit Union and its members safe. Rachel received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Framingham State University and is currently working on her Master’s in Business and Administration. She is certified in IT Security and Project Management. Rachel lives in Haverhill, MA.

Scott Vandemark was recently promoted to Assistant Treasurer- Technology Operations Support Manager. Scott joined the Credit Union in 2021. Prior to joining Jeanne D’Arc, Scott worked in IT at Newburyport Bank for 7 years. Currently, He manages a team of Technical Support Specialists who are responsible for technology repairs, facilitating software updates, and establishing IT and security protocols. Scott received his Associate’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from North Shore Community College. He currently resides in Newmarket, NH.

Daniel (Dan) Belanger has been promoted to Assistant Vice President- Financial Analytics. He joined Jeanne D’Arc’s Finance department in 2011. Dan will be responsible for a myriad of financial analytics and is a key contributor to the Credit Union’s budget and financial planning. He will continue to manage a team while overseeing the reporting and analytic capabilities of the Finance department. Dan received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UMass‐Lowell and a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Diego. He lives in Methuen, MA with his wife and their two sons.
