Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union Sponsors Runner for Credit Unions Kids at Heart/Boston Children’s Hospital Marathon Team
LOWELL, MA (January 27, 2025)—Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is excited to announce its support of the Credit Unions (CU) Kids at Heart® / Boston Children’s Hospital Miles for Miracles 2025 Boston Marathon Team with the sponsorship of runner Brenna Lorenzen and her patient partner, Maddy Loftus.
Founded in 1996, CU Kids at Heart raises funds for research on pediatric neurological disorders, and in the last several years, has done so by sponsoring a team that receives charity bibs to run the Boston Marathon on behalf of Boston Children’s Hospital. Each year, runners are paired with Boston Children’s Hospital Patient Partners, many of whom are challenged to overcome debilitating diseases.
Brenna and Jeanne D’Arc will be paired with patient partner, Maddy Loftus. Maddy is a clever 14-year-old who never fails to spread joy around with her smiles and giggles. She started walking on her own in 2019 but is already skiing! Maddy and her family have been part of the Team since 2014.
Brenna, Jeanne D’Arc’s sponsored runner, is the daughter of Jeanne D’Arc’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Robin Lorenzen. This will be Brenna’s first time running with CU Kids at Heart, and her first marathon. You can learn more about Brenna and Maddy and donate to their team here.
The 2025 CU Kids at Heart team consists of eight dedicated runners, including employees of the team’s supporting credit unions and research investigators whose groundbreaking research is funded, in part, by CU Kids at Heart. You can learn more about the Runners and Patient Partners.
