Honoring the legacy of one of our community’s finest ambassadors
On September 29, 2016 the Merrimack Valley Community lost one of its finest Ambassadors, Stephen Jones. To keep his memory alive, we created the Steve Jones Legacy Fund.
People helping people
Steve was the thread that linked Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union with the Greater Lowell community. His passion, enthusiasm, and willingness to help everyone and anyone made him anything but common. We were honored to have Steve serve on the Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union team for 20 years.
A member of many boards and committees for various nonprofits, Steve believed wholeheartedly in the “people helping people” philosophy. He showed that not only with his commitment to different organizations but in the way he carried himself each day.

UMass Lowell Hockey Recognizes the Steve Jones Legacy Fund Recipients
During a UMass Lowell River Hawks hockey game 2019, the River Hawks welcomed and recognized the six organizations who were recipients of funding from the Steve Jones Legacy Fund, in honor of our friend, Steve Jones.
